KAWASAKI is set to showcase some of its supercharged concept sketches at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show.

According to our Japanese sources the bike above is called the Concept SC 01, with the SC standing for Spirit Charger. Kawasaki calls it 'the future inheriting the past.'

As far as we can work out, Kawasaki says the bike is part of its ride ideology, it's 'rideology'. Although the above image isn't new, the fact that Kawasaki is including it on its official stand could indicate that it might be planning to move the concept on a stage and use the engine from the Ninja H2 in a future-retro superbike.

With rumours rife that Kawasaki is set to expand its range of supercharged models with a 650cc Ninja S2, it wouldn't be too surprising if it decided to bring out more supercharged models to make full use of its supercharger technology and speed up recouping the cost of development.
