SCOOP: New Triumph Daytona 675R revealed!
Sharper looks, new components. Triumph have added performance to their popular 675

AFTER THE endless leak-a-thon that's led up to the launch of the Tiger 800 the fact that Triumph has yet another new model – about which barely a whisper has escaped the factory – is doubly surprising.
The Daytona 675R, shown in these official images which have appeared ahead of its launch next month, follows the stock recipe for adding a top-end derivative of an existing bike. Ohlins suspension? Check. Brembo brakes? Check. Red rim tape on the wheels? Check. Special graphics? Check.
The remaining question is whether there are changes under the skin to add performance as well as style and improved handling. If Triumph follows the pattern it set with the Street Triple R, then we won't see a power gain. However, we should expect a few extra horses to back up the more aggressive looks of the new bike, afterall this is a sportsbike.
All will be revealed at the Milan show in a couple of weeks.
