Harley-Davidson Offers the Chance to Ride Route 66

Route 66 has become a myth in the modern world, but it still exists in reality and you can still ride it with Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson Offers the Chance to Ride Route 66

Harley-Davidson is offering the chance to win a trip to the US and to ride on the famous Route 66.

All you need to do to enter the competition is book a free test ride with Harley-Davidson on one of its Grand American Touring models.

This includes the Harley-Davidson Road Glide, Street Glide, Road King, and Ultra, but not the CVO versions of the Road Glide or Street Glide.

The Road King utilises Harley’s Milwaukee Eight 114 V-twin engine, producing 117lb ft of torque and 93bhp and offers a modern-classic style with its round headlamp and over-sized front mudguard in combination with blacked out wheels, suspension and engine.

The Street Glide and Road Glide have both been updated with the Milwaukee Eight 117 engine for this year. This means 1,923cc, 129lb ft, and 107bhp in combination with their respective takes on cruise-touring.

The Ultra goes big on the front mudguard again, but it balances that with a huge arse: side cases combined with a top box that doubles as a pillion backrest and with a large LED light bar across its width. It uses the 114 engine, same as the Road King, but with slightly different performance: 118lb ft and 87bhp.

Booking a test ride on any of these bikes before the end of the week (28 April) will get you a chance of winning that trip to ride Route 66, and, who knows you might find yourself a new motorcycle in the process.
