HARD-hitting images of real crash scenes will be used to encourage motorists to drive safely on Manx roads during this year's Isle of Man TT.
The Department of Transport, in conjunction with the police, launched its TT 2009 road safety campaign this morning (Monday), with a poster featuring a staged scene where an actor is lying in the road, posing as a dead biker.
It is hoped the Stay Alert, Stay Alive campaign will make people think twice about reckless driving and reduce the number of accidents.
