Updated BMW F800R and F800GT revealed
Styling tweaks and new colours for BMW’s middleweight twins
BMW revealed these updated versions of its F800R and F800GT, with new colours and styling tweaks.
Both faired and naked versions of BMW’s 798cc parallel-twin middleweight have a ‘newly designed end piece’ on the exhaust and new clocks.
The faired GT also gets a new ‘galvanised’ badge and a windshield with the model name inscribed on it.
The GT comes in new metallic blue, metallic black or white colour schemes while the R comes in red, metallic black or white, blue and red.
New options include higher bars for the F800R, while both bikes now comply with latest Euro4 emission limits.
They were unveiled at the Eicma motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, with price to be confirmed.

F 800 GT: Gravity Blue metallic matt, Lightwhite non-metallic, Blackstorm metallic.
- New ex works options such as higher handlebars (F 800 R) and “Design Option” wheels (F 800 R).
- New Original BMW Motorrad Accessories, e.g. HP sports silencer.’
