161bhp QJMotor SRK 1000RR Has Serious MV Agusta Vibes
QJMotor has unveiled its latest SRK 1000 superbike and naked bikes, both of which resemble particular MV Agusta bikes
QJMotor’s 2025 line-up includes the new SRK 1000RR superbike and SRK 1000 naked, with the former being the Chinese brand’s most anticipated motorcycle yet.
Although it’s still lacking the eye-bulging figures of its European rivals such as the Ducati Panigale V4 and BMW M1000 RR, both of which produce over 200bhp, the new SRK 1000RR is the most advanced QJMotor bike to date and that’s evident in the numbers.
Its 921cc four-cylinder power unit produces 161bhp at 13600rpm, while also making 66.4Ib ft of torque at 11000rpm. Featuring a steel trellis frame and aluminium rear set-up, the design was created by ex-MV Agusta boss Giovanni Castiglioni alongside former MV and Benelli chief designer Adrian Morton.
If you’re thinking it looks similar to a particular MV Agusta motorcycle, you would be right as the SRK 1000RR could almost pass as an F3 RR, and we’re getting Brutale vibes from the SRK 1000 naked.
Suspension-wise the bike features an inverted telescopic forks set-up, while the rear consists of a single-sided swingarm and monoshock layout. The brakes are right up there in terms of quality too with Brembo radial four-piston calipers surrounding dual 320mm front discs. A two-piston rear brake with a 260mm disc completes the braking assembly. The cast aluminium wheels are paired with 120/70-17 front and 190/50-17 rear tyres.
The SRK 1000 naked bike has entirely different bodywork from back to front, as it mirrors that of a MV Agusta Rush thanks to its elevated pillion seat, however, it does well to not come across as a knock-off version of the Italian manufacturer’s model.
The SRK 1000 shares everything that the RR model does, whether that be the 921cc engine, trellis frame, and suspension/braking set-up. Both bikes also feature the same technology such as traction control, adjustable riding modes, and a colour TFT panel compatible with smartphones.
