Deal: Save More Than £3K on 2023 KTM 890 Duke GP
With an RRP of 10,669, this brand-new 2023 edition KTM 890 Duke GP is one of the best deals going
The KTM 890 Duke is one of two heavy-hitting naked models within the Austrian firm’s middleweight range, as there’s also the 890 Duke R which produces slightly more power and torque figures, and Blade Motorcycles has huge offers on both.
But it's the 890 Duke GP model that jumps out at you as a huge saving of £3,254 is available on this brand-new 2023 edition, dropping the price from over £10K to a very affordable £7,445. Featuring a GP-inspired CTG (Colour, Trim and Graphics) appearance, the GP model produces 115bhp and 67.8Ib ft of torque.
That’s just shy of the R model which churns out 119bhp and 73Ib ft of torque and the UK dealer has savings of £2,404 on the 890 Duke R which is also new and a 2023 model.
Sharing some of the same DNA, the GP model features the same LC8, liquid-cooled V-twin engine as the R model while the front suspension is also the same which includes WP Apex 43 forks with 140mm of travel. At the rear is a WP monoshock with 150mm of travel.
Handling is where this thing is meant to shine and it does so through a tapered aluminium, 760mm wide handlebar that’s adjustable, with four positions on the triple clamp that can be rotated in three further positions for the ultimate riding position.
One key difference between the two bikes is the brakes as the R features a full Brembo system but the GP does not. A dual radially mounted four-piston caliper and 300mm disc comprises the front of the GP edition, while the rear features a two-piston caliper and 240mm brake disc set-up.
The KTM 890 Duke GP comes with a number of rider aids which include Sport, Street, Rain and Track mode. The last of those gives the bike full power and the chance to dial back the amount of traction control that’s being used. The 890 Duke GP also features a full LED lighting system at the front and rear.
