Destroyed Ducati Panigale V4 Gets Turned into Off-Road Beast
A broken Ducati Panigale V4 has just received the comeback of all comebacks after being turned into an adventure bike
Ever heard the words Ducati Panigale V4 and dream bike in the same sentence? Well, duh! Most bikers including myself at one stage have thought and said these exact words. But not many would still feel that way if they saw the state of this Panigale V4 before it went on to receive a crazy resurrection.
An American YouTuber by the name Matt Spears, like myself and many of you I’m sure, has long dreamt of owning a Panigale V4. But in order to get his hands on one he was reduced to buying one at an auction that was completely destroyed, to the point of having no front-end fairing.
The bike also didn’t come with a key or dashboard, which he had to get himself. As if this bike had not been through enough, Spears dropped while it was sitting in his garage.
But then, after topping the bike up with oil and then discovering a pretty severe oil leak, he eventually managed to start the bike following various attempts to get the thing up and running. Despite the bike being wrecked, Spears is faced with very few options as he admits the entire budget he had was ‘blown’ on the 2024 Panigale V4.
After hours of rebuilding, Spears, who at this point has fitted the bike with a thin, knobbly front tyre, starts up his reborn Panigale V4 with success before taking it up his local mountain roads.
What’s in store next is one of the scariest but most entertaining rides you could wish to watch as Spears puts his impressive skills to the test as he attempts to get the Panigale V4-turned adventure bike, which was still using the Pirelli Diablo road tyre at the rear, up mountain trails and icy lanes.
Unable to achieve his mountain top adventure, Spears heads back to fit a knobbly rear tyre which also allows him time to fit a very questionable exhaust, but finally, the Panigale V4 makes its way to the top of the mountain.
