Ducati Desmo450 MX can be turned into race replica
If you fancy turning your new Desmo450 MX into a full-factory replica, then you’re in luck thanks to the Italian company’s range of premium parts.

Ducati has revealed a long list of premium accessories that can turn your Desmo450 MX into a full-factory race replica, similar to the one currently raced by Jeremy Seewer and Mattia Guadagnini in the MXGP world championship.
As part of the new accessories package riders can add a full titanium exhaust system to their Desmo450 MX. Should you choose to buy the complete exhaust, you will save 1.7kg in weight over the stock system. The more performance-based exhaust also complies with noise limits imposed by the FIM and AMA.
A system that is set to be banned from MotoGP in 2027 but is essential in motocross racing, a holeshot device can also be added. The holeshot works by preloading the front forks, which then lowers the front end of the bike and reduces the chances of pulling a wheelie.
Additionally, riders can add wheel rims that have been specifically designed by Ducati Corse, as well as a racing seat and grips.

Two different options are available for the rubber grips, which are made with aramid fibre particles. Both must be mounted alongside a new throttle control tube, which has been designed for traditional and non-lock-on grips.
The Borgo Panigale brand’s all-new motocross machine, which landed in dealers earlier this summer with a price of £11,245, features a single-cylinder 449.6cc engine with Desmodromic valve-train.
The Desmo450’s engine produces 62bhp at 9,400rpm, while also delivering a maximum torque of 39.4 Ib ft at 7,500rpm. The Desmo450 MX features a rev limiter intervention which is set at 11,900rpm, and Ducati claims this a new benchmark for the category.
