The winner of the Harley-Davidson King of Kings winner has been announced as the Apex Predator built in Mexico
THE winner of the 2020 Harley-Davidson King of Kings dealer build-off competition has been announced.
The global contest has seen 18 Harley-Davidson builders from 12 different countries taking part in the final round of the world’s biggest custom motorcycle build-off competition.
With winner was announced after more than 50,000 votes were cast with the bikes Apex Predator being crowned as the official King of Kings winner.
The machine, built by Oscar Peralta of Harley-Davidson Querétaro, Mexico, was built from his desire to create their vision of the ultimate Sportster XR1200. Using that machine as a base, Oscar and his team set about creating an aggressive look for their King of Kings entry. The bike shows off Oscar and his team's technical abilities, with a handcrafted 2-1-2 under-seat exhaust, vented hand-built tail unit and one-off upswept exhaust. Creating a flowing line from the wave brake disc rotors and upside-down Showa big piston forks at the front.
The bike also boasts a collection of custom hand and foot controls, paired with the hand-finished Alcantara seat unit. Additional bespoke bodywork incorporates the twin air intakes complementing the stance of the bike. The Sterling Green paintwork is by acres of powder coating, add a luxury feel to the final presentation.
