Biker embeds motorcycle in tractor, escapes with minor injuries

A MOTORCYCLIST had an extremely lucky escape after a tractor pulled out in front of them in Ewelme, Oxfordshire, on Monday.

Photos share online by the South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust show the front end of a red Fireblade embedded in the side of a similarly coloured tractor.

Incredibly the rider escaped with only minor injuries, but was taken to Oxford University Hospital as a precaution.

Alongside the photos, the service shared a warning to motorists to 'take into account the approach speed of a vehicle' before pulling out.

Commenter have echoed this sentiment, while others have criticized bikers for 'treating the roads like race tracks'.

But the winning comment has to be from the South Central Ambulance Service itself. When one commenter assured his friend he would not be getting one - referring to a bike - now, an operator replied: "With proper training, safety gear and careful, considerate road usage we're sure you'd be a fine and safe tractor driver Jake."
