Bikers and police unite to fight motorcycle crime
Motorcyclists in Hull want to build a more positive reputation for bikers
MOTORCYCLISTS in Hull have joined Police in a ride against two-wheeled crime.
The 600-plus bikers paraded the North Eastern city's streets following a week long push to tackle motorcycle crime as part of Operation Yellowfin.
The operation, which began last year, is currently working with petrol stations in an effort to prevent the criminals from fuelling up. Since it began last year, the operation has seen motorcycle theft in the city reach an all time low.
For the motorcyclists, the partnership with Police helps them to build a more positive reputation for bikers.
