Fancy a ride out? Royal Enfield ‘One Ride’ takes place this Sunday!
Rides are planned in the UK & across the world, thousands of riders will be heading out on the Royal Enfield ‘One Ride’ this Sunday, the 26th of September.
Who doesn’t love a ride out? This weekend, on Sunday the 26th of September, the Royal Enfield ‘One Ride’ will be taking place for Royal Enfield owners and enthusiasts across the world - and is a great chance to see this year off in style!
Set to occur simultaneously across the world, groups of riders will be congregating at their local Royal Enfield dealers and set off for a nearby destination. It’s a benefit of being part of the Royal Enfield Riders Club, with various events planned across the year - but this one is a bit different.
Not only is the event a chance to resume a bit of normality in the riding world - ride outs and group events have been severely hampered as a result of the global pandemic - but it’s also a chance for the ‘leave every place better’ message to gain some traction.
The Indian giant is backing a message to support your local area, minimise your footprint by carrying your waste back with you, avoiding single-use plastics, and being a responsible rider. The UK ‘One Ride’ will also give a chance for an awareness talk about CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) which is a mental health & suicide prevention charity.
There are different events running around the UK as mentioned, so if your weekend plans are looking a little dry, have a gander on the One Ride site and see if there’s a ride happening near you.
Speaking of dry, let’s hope the weather stays that way! We’ll be heading for the One Ride event starting at Hartgate Motorcycles & Scooters, Mitcham - say hi if you’re there too!
