The Honda Adventure Roads program will hit Icelandic soil in 2020 as 30 riders take on 11 days of Rally Raids with HRC team riders

THE Honda Adventure Roads program is to return in 2021 following on from successful tours in Norway and South Africa.

For 2021, Honda Motor Europe will bring 30 riders on the new CRF1100L Africa Twin, also in the Adventure Sports version, in an 11-day raid through the land of "Fire and Ice".

Previous events have seen teams of riders taking on adventure tours from Oslo to Nordkapp (3,500km) and then in 2019 riding from Durban to Cape Town on an epic 12-day adventure.

For 2021, the program will see the riders travelling from Reykjavik, the northernmost capital of the world, winding towards the south of the island and then across the remote plateaus of the north and finally returning to Reykjavik.

The route will take in some of the most stunning landscapes in the northern hemisphere, with participants tackling every kind of terrain, from perfectly paved roads to dirt paths, sailing on the famous black sand and wading rivers, all while being able to admire the majestic beauty of an island famous for its volcanoes, waterfalls, lava fields, geysers.

Adventure Roads 2021 is a turnkey package for 30 Honda Africa Twin owners from all over Europe. It includes the rental of the Africa Twin with its maintenance, accommodation during the event and assistance from expert guides. In addition, participants will be able to meet some of the riders of the HRC Rally Team.
