The Honda Ron Haslam Race School will soon be closing

The world renowned Honda Ron Haslam Race School at Donington Park will be closing it doors for the final time soon, Ron and Ann Haslam announce

Ron Haslam has announced his eponymous race school will soon be closing its doors closing its doors after 24 years as one of the UK’s most reputed and recognisable motorcycle tutoring centres.

Founded on the reputation of Haslam’s stellar motorcycling career, which yielded three World Championship and four British championships, the Ron Haslam Race School – run alongside Ron’s wife Ann – has become a mainstay of the Donington Park circuit.

However, in a statement issued by the pair, the Haslam Race School confirms it will be shutting down after it completes the final 10 booked days to embark on new challenges, adding that it will continue to ‘providing training and sharing of Ron’s expertise and knowledge for everyone in this great industry/sport.’

“It is with great sadness, Ron and Ann Haslam announce that this will be our final year for the Honda Ron Haslam Race School,” a statement confirms. “We have been running for 24 years and have had over 86,000 great customers. We would like to thank Honda for all their support in providing the best range of motorcycles from 125cc to the Fireblade. The training, both on and off track, has been built to suit customers’ individual needs and most importantly to have fun and become safer better riders.

The statement – which can be viewed in full below – concludes a message of thanks to those who remained in involved in the business during these particularly tough COVID-19 times. 

“We have been so successful with world recognition that is down to the amazing staff and instructors we have had over the years. We hope we can work together on something new in the future.”
