Sinnis has launched a new adventure riding school aimed at learner riders and using 125cc adventure bike machinery.

Sinnis is describing its new adventure riding school, the Sinnis Terrain Off Road Riding Academy, as a “UK first” in its accessibility for learner riders. Part of this accessibility is down to the use of Sinnis Terrain 125 adventure motorcycles, which provides an entry-level platform for inexperienced riders. The use of the Terrain 125 also means that only a CBT licence is required to take part in the Sinnis adventure school.

The school also utilises “confidence inspiring trails,” Sinnis says, which are located in the woodlands of East Sussex and feature a variety of characteristics, from wider, graded trails to single tracks where mud becomes more of a factor.

The riding school has been launched by Sinnis in partnership with the Desert Rose Riding Academy. Sinnis says “riders can expect world-class coaching on the fundamentals of riding an adventure bike off-road,” thanks to its lead instructors, former Dakar rider Patsy Quick and enduro rider Harry Michael.

The training led by the aforementioned Quick and Michael is split into sections. First, the training focuses on the fundamentals of body position, visibility and controls, before progressing to more advances skills such as rear wheel slides and pre-loading to clear obstacles.

“Confidence building is always the aim,” Sinnis says, “with the coaches providing individual feedback to help support each rider in maximising their potential.”

The first Sinnis Terrain Off Road Riding Academy at the Desert Rose Riding Academy is scheduled for 4 February 2023. Bookings can be made on the Desert Rose Riding Academy website.
