Two injured in Nitro Circus crash

AN accident at a show by the famous Nitro Circus at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro arena last night resulted in the hospitalisation of two people.

The stunt involved three members of the public joining one of the Circus’ own riders on a bike, which then appeared to lose power it as climbed ramp. Video footage from several angles has emerged on YouTube, showing all four falling to ground.

One person is said to have facial injuries, the other a damaged hip. Both were taken to hospital.

The announcer at the event described it as the worst crash they had ever had.

The Nitro Circus, led by the legendary Travis Pastrana, has evolved the sport of freestyle motocross into a massive arena stunt show.
