Wheels & Waves is back!
Get down to Biarritz for the coolest celebration of motorcycling around
SUNSHINE, surf and two-wheeled antics – Wheels & Waves is back!
The seventh edition of the sports, culture and good food-filled festival will take place from Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th June in its scenic location of Biarritz on France’s Basque coast.
Motorcycling displays will feature over the four-day festival, with a Wall of Death and motorcycle movie nights among the highlights. And in true Wheels & Waves fashion, the Punk’s Peak Sprint, Swank Rally Enduro and El Rollo Flat Track Races will showcase the best bikes and finest riders.
Surfing, skateboarding and music will also play a big part in the event, which organisers say is “all about riding culture”.
“This gathering is a time for pure pleasure and the essentials of living. For four days Wheels and Waves stimulates all your senses. The power of the road, exposing you to all kinds of sensations, is tamed by the strength of the sea, and the harmony of the wind and the waves. And all the while the South West sun burns down on the tarmac, steel and sand,” they commented.
Once again sponsored by American manufacturer Indian, there will be a fleet of Scout Bobber, Scout and Scout Sixty bikes available to test out. And, to sweeten the deal, Indian are offering purchasers of a four-day pass the chance to win a Scout Bobber.
