Gun Company Builds Ladies-Only Pink Motorcycle
Russian company Kalashnikov, best known for producing firearms, has unveiled a pink ladies-only bike

Sure to ruffle some feathers, Russian company Kalashnikov, known for producing AK47 guns, has introduced a new motorcycle to the world. But it’s only for the ladies, apparently.
Some will either love it or hate it, and I think I can safely say that feminists are likely to sit on the latter when it comes to that spectrum, however, despite the fact that this bike could not be more obvious about its intent to produce a ladies-only appeal, it’s actually got everything you need for a competent motorcycle.
It features a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 250cc engine with a claimed 31bhp. It also includes both an electric and a kickstart. Seat height comes in at 720mm while a full tank holds 14 litres of fuel.
This isn’t the company’s first attempt at building a motorcycle after it produced an IZH49 classic bike, while the firearm manufacturer has also been working on an electric model.
The wheel sizes on the new ‘ladies only’ motorcycle include an 18-inch unit up front and a 16-inch one in the rear. When it comes to the suspension and brakes, it's a very standard set-up with a telescopic conventional front fork, a rear swingarm and disc brakes at both ends. The curb weight is listed at 160 kilograms.
The bike’s top speed is said to reach 155km/ph (96mph) which is believed to be a similar number as the black IZH49 as the two motorcycles are thought to be the same, with only the colour changing.
Kalashnikov announced that both bikes are available for pre-order, and the pink model is in honour of International Women's Day which took place on 8 March, 2025.
