Honda looks set to introduce a new CB1000F SE model in the near future, with a first sighting expected at the Suzuka 8 Hours event on August 1-3.

Details provided by Global Honda, which included a teaser of the new model, say the bike will have a booth set-up at Suzuka as part of its unveiling.

The CB1000F SE Concept will be based on the new CB1000F concept, which was showcased for the first time at the 41st Osaka Motorcycle Show, in March. Few details about the bike have been made available, but we know it will be enhanced by the addition of a headlight cowl.

For more information about the bike’s potential specs, first understanding the CB1000F is a good place to start.

Receiving some of the DNA that’s found on the popular CB1000 Hornet, the CB1000F features a steel twin-spar frame, dual-sided swingarm, and a 150bhp engine derived from the 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade motor.

We expect the SE model to receive all of the above, while the suspension is also likely to include the same Showa SFF-BP inverted fork and adjustable monoshock that is found on the new CB1000F and 2025 Hornet.

Elsewhere, the CB1000F includes a rectangular taillight and muscular fuel tank with an elevated central section where the filler cap sits. The circular headlight gives the bike a fresh style with LED running lights.

More information on the potential new CB1000F SE model will be provided when it’s confirmed.
