Ducati reports 5% growth for first half of 2023
Ducati has recorded a year-on-year growth of 5% in terms of deliveries for the first half of 2023, with almost 35,000 motorcycles delivered globally.
Ducati has published its motorcycle delivery figures for the first half of 2023, which show growth compared to the same period last year.
Compared to the same period in 2022, Ducati has shown a 5% growth in motorcycle deliveries, globally speaking, in the first half of 2023.
The total tally for the Bologna brand in the first six months of this year is 34,976.
Those deliveries have taken place in, of course, a number of markets, but it is perhaps no surprise that Ducati’s home market, Italy, is the brand’s largest. 6,639 bikes delivered in Italy so far this year represents a 10% growth for Ducati on its home soil, but that growth was beaten by the US, which saw 11% growth for Ducati year-on-year in the first half of 2023 with 4,505 motorcycles delivered, making it Ducati’s second-largest market.
Germany, with 13% growth and 4,217 bikes delivered, is recorded as the third-largest market for Ducati in the first half of 2023.
The most popular bike in Ducati’s range, globally, during the first half of 2023 was the Multistrada V4, with 6,382 units delivered across all its variants; while the Monster was delivered in 4,299 units, and the Scrambler 800 range in 3,581.
Francesco Milicia, Ducati VP Global Sales and After Sales, said: "This first half-year was Ducati's best ever in terms of deliveries. We reached a record 34,976 bikes delivered, proving that our passionate clients continue to appreciate our product range, which is now wider than ever.
“The supply bottlenecks experienced last year are now over but the global competition in the market is more intense in the post Covid-era also because of better product availability. Our commitment to reinforce the satisfaction of our Ducatisti is stronger than ever and their continuous trust gives all people in Borgo Panigale an extra motivation."
