The cross-manufacturer deal - which KTM says extends "over several years" - focuses on North America, and Mexico, and will see KTM North America distribute and promote MV Agusta’s motorcycle range in those regions, as well as provide customer service. To do this, KTM AG says it “will create a dedicated US-based legal entity, which will be in charge of all MV Agusta operations in North America.”

MV Agusta motorcycles will still be available from the Italian brand’s own existing dealers, as well as new ones, but now also from “select,” according to KTM, dealers of the Austrian manufacturer.

“On one hand, the strength of the brand and the exclusivity of its motorcycles, a symbol of Italy’s design and engineering excellence, and on the other hand KTM AG’s extensive and solid commercial organisation, will support the growth of MV Agusta in the North American region,” a KTM press release says.
