KTM confirms its first half of 2025 sales figures
KTM says it has sold 100,000 motorcycles worldwide in the first half of 2025, while it's actively looking for more employees

KTM has delivered its sales figures for the first half of 2025, and according to the company, 100,000 bikes have been sold.
While the numbers might look impressive given the Austrian manufacturer has been battling through a financial crisis, some of those sales will potentially be down to dormant stock being moved from dealers and warehouses, although this is unconfirmed.
In a press release, KTM says the demand for its bikes is ‘high globally’, going on to say that 50,286 units have been delivered to dealers and importers worldwide.
The last few months have been tough for the brand, which was left with no choice but to let go of hundreds of employees, and twice halt production on new motorcycles.
However, production is set to resume at the end of this month, while KTM has also confirmed it is now looking to employ more people after its restructuring hurdle was cleared.
KTM’s new CEO, Gottfried Neumeister, said: "The last few months have shown us that we are only so strong thanks to our employees. KTM is back on track for growth and is therefore also intensively looking for enthusiastic employees for all Austrian and international locations. Anyone who wants to actively shape the company around the KTM brand will find a place with us.”

He also went on to claim that the company’s sales figures have put the brand ‘back on the right track’.
"The last six months have shown that the motorcycle community's support for the KTM brand remains unbroken. Our innovative spirit, our know-how and our passion are responsible for our strong market position – over 100,000 motorcycles sold in the first half of the year give us confidence that our bikes are popular all over the world and that we are back on the right track,” added Neumeister.
Although this could be the start of KTM regaining a strong foothold in the two-wheel industry, the upcoming months will no doubt shed more light on its overall position and potential success.
