LS2 Thunder GP Aero Helmet Gets New Graphics

To celebrate three of its top international racers, helmet brand LS2 has introduced three new replica designs aboard its popular Thunder GP Aero lid.

The new replica graphics are centred around three riders, all of whom compete in different championships, and all enjoying different levels of success in 2024. They are reigning WorldSSP champion and new Moto2 rider Adiran Huertas, MotoGP rookie Fermin Aldeguer and Endurance racer Gregg Black.

But these new replica helmets from the Spanish company are about far more than fancy graphics, as all three Thunder GP Aero lids feature a fully 100 per cent Carbon Fibre shell while also weighing a mere 1280 grams, making it the most technologically-advanced helmet in its range to date.

All three helmets come with a racing spoiler at the rear while the new lids from LS2 also feature a 3D Polycarbonate visor and a quick-release system. The brand’s go-to race helmet can be fitted with tear-offs and comes standard with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog system.

Additionally, an emergency release system allows medics and first responders to remove the cheek pads without affecting the head and neck. Safe and secure fastening is provided by the Reinforced Chin Strap and Double D-Ring fastener.

In terms of ventilation, LS2’s flagship lid offers ports at the chin, forehead, and crown, alongside internal EPS liner and large exhaust-like ports at the rear.

The helmets are all certified to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard, and are also ACU Gold approved for competition use. The LS2 Thunder GP Aero is available in solid carbon at just £459.99 and six graphics, including the new 2025 Replica designs, at £499.99.
