MV Agusta F4 Bags Biggest Selling Figure From Stunning 28-Bike Auction
The Riddell Collection’s stunning 28-bike auction has ended with a 2014 MV Agusta F4 RC reeling in £33,550

The prize-topping MV Agusta had just eight miles on the clock and was only one of two bikes to not only exceed the £30K mark, but also the £20K barrier.
Second in cash total to the MV Agusta F4 was another 2014 model as a low mileage Ducati 1199 Panigale Superleggera went for £31,250.
But here are some of the other highlights from an auction that saw all 28 bikes sold on Sunday.
Triumph Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen
After receiving 26 bids the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen edition bike went for just £10,525 despite its very low 14 miles on the clock.
This liquid-cooled 1200cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 88bhp, is fitted into bike number 808 of the 1000 ‘Steve McQueen’ limited edition motorcycles made.
Some of the feature highlights on this impressive bike include a tubular steel trellis frame with a twin-sided aluminium swingarm, Showa adjustable front forks, Ohlins adjustable piggy-back RSUs at the rear, and a set of Brembo M50 brakes with switchable ABS.
Due to it being a ‘Steve McQueen’ edition of the Scrambler 1200, it is painted in Competition Green with hand-painted gold coach lining, brushed knee pads, and a 1960’s-era tank decal.
The seat features brown leather with white Triumph branding on the rear, while the handlebars feature a numbered, billet-machined and laser-etched insert bearing Steve McQueen’s signature.
2022 BMW R1250 GS goes for over £15K
Another motorcycle very low on miles, the 2022 BMW R1250 GS Adventure TE (touring edition) has had just one owner since being released onto the market in 2022.
Comprising a 1254cc two-cylinder ‘boxer’ motor that produces 136bhp, it’s one of the most appealing bikes from this auction and has been finished in a triple black factory colourway.
The standard GS Adventure model includes BMW Motorrad ABS, TFT with Connectivity, power and USB sockets, an LED headlight and an adjustable windscreen. However, the TE version also benefits from the Dynamic Package with multiple riding modes and gear shift assist.
The Comfort Package incorporates heated grips and keyless ride, a Lights Package that features Headlight Pro and additional LED fog lights, and the Touring Package with pannier fastenings and cruise control.
Triumph Trident T160V Brings home £15K
One of three 1975 Triumph motorcycles in the auction, this T160V in red and white went for an impressive £15,000 and had 55 bids placed.
The bike features a five-speed transmission, while the engine is an air-cooled 741cc inline three-cylinder motor, producing around 60hp.
The bike, which was originally on display in a Danish museum, has never seen the light of the road as it was never registered, thus it has remained in as-new condition since.
Prior to the auction going live the 28-bike collection was valued at £300,000 and it was just £4,077 shy of hitting that figure.
