2010 KTM Freeride eBike revealed

A GERMAN MOTORCYCLE magazine has published pictures of KTM's new Freeride electric motorcycle, despite a strict embargo imposed by the Austrian company.

Available in dirt bike or supermoto trim and with a planned retail price of around £8,900, the 90kg KTM produces 30bhp and 33ft-lbs of torque and has a run time of approximately 1.5-hours.

UK availability has yet to be confirmed.

Mmm. Almost nine grand. Can't see that swaying many away from petrol power just yet.
