The 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 prices have been announced
The pricing for the new Triumph Rocket 3 means owning the biggest production motorcycle in the world costs under £20k
THE Triumph Rocket 3 is, and always has been, a behemoth of a motorcycle. It has some of the widest tyres and biggest three-cylinder engine fitted to a production motorcycle.
And for 2020 the recipe remains unchanged: Stomping 2,500cc triple, 221Nm torque, 165bhp and a shade under 300kg of Hinckley heavy metal.
And now Triumph has announced the pricing structure for the two variants, if you want a Triumph Rocket 3 in your garage in 2020, here’s everything you need to know:
Triumph Rocket 3 R features and pricing
The more stripped back and focussed machine in the Rocket 3 range is the R version, which comes in at £19,500. Colours available are Korosi Red (pictured above) and Phantom Black.
The R features mid-set footrests, flip-down pillion pegs and a roadster style rear seat, just big enough for a companion! The riding position of the R is also revised, with handlebars mounted near to the top yolk to give it an aggressive, streetfighter stance.
Triumph Rocket 3 GT features and pricing
The Rocket 3 GT is for the big-bore, three-cylinder enthusiast who wishes to share the experience with a friend, that machine comes in at £20,200. The Rocket 3 GT is available in a Silver Ice and Storm Grey colour scheme (pictured above) and Phantom black.
The GT gets a few creature comforts included like forward controls for the rider, a small flyscreen, a revised pillion seat with upswept finish and small pillion support – presumably that’ll come in handy given the sub-3 second 0-60 time!
