2021 Royal Enfield 650 models announced with new colours
Royal Enfield has pulled the wraps off its 2021 Euro5 Continental GT and Interceptor models
ROYAL ENFIELD has updated the 2021 650cc parallel twin-cylinder offerings from the range, now with a Euro5 engine and new retro-inspired colour schemes.
In addition to the new paintjobs, both bikes get aesthetic updates including blacked-out wheel rims and mudguards in single tone colour variants of the Interceptor 650.
2021 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650
The Interceptor 650 is now available in two new single tone colourways - Canyon Red and Ventura Blue; two new dual tone colourways - Downtown Drag, and Sunset Strip and has a new updated version of the chrome in the Mark 2. The Mark 2 Chrome Interceptor is an ode to the original Interceptor 750 that is reminiscent of the heydays of California’s sun-drenched culture of the 60’s. The Interceptor 650 additionally retains the single tone Orange Crush colourway and the dual-tone Baker Express that has been extremely popular with customers and the wider motorcycling community across the globe.
2021 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650
The café racer inspired Continental GT 650, with its retro styling, is now available in five new colourways. Each design takes inspiration from Royal Enfield’s heritage including a Rocker Red single tone colourway. The motorcycle is also available in an additional new single tone as British Racing Green and in two new dual-tone colourways - Dux Deluxe and Ventura Storm, and has a new updated version of the chrome in Mister Clean.
Speaking about the newly updated bike, Vinod K. Dasari, CEO Royal Enfield said:
“The launch of the 650 Twins marked a new chapter for Royal Enfield and paved the way for us to expand and lead the global mid-sized motorcycle segment. Since its launch, the Interceptor 650 has been the best selling naked motorcycle in the UK and has also grown the 500cc+ category more than 4-times in India. The Continental GT 650 continues to wow enthusiasts across the world, developing its own unique cult status and has helped us further develop the cafe racer culture globally. We are delighted with the success of these two motorcycles as they introduced many first time buyers into the Royal Enfield ecosystem. We believe that our new exciting colourways will go a long way towards bringing more enthusiasts into the brand fold.”
