BMW reveals updated S1000XR
More power for super-adventure bike
Visordown
BMW HAS just revealed this updated 2017 version of its S1000XR.
The adventure-come-superbike makes even more power, at 165hp instead of 160hp, and has also been made compliant with the latest Euro4 emission limits.
Like the updated S1000R, it’s got ‘vibration-free handlebars’, which BMW says ‘prevent even the finest vibrations’ with the help of a newly designed upper fork bridge.
It comes in the ‘well-established’ colours of red, red and white, or grey, plus a new option of metallic blue.
It was unveiled today at the Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne, Germany, with price to be confirmed.
