HERE'S what Kawasaki’s rumoured Versys 250 could look like according to Indonesian bike websites including Tmcblog.

The rendering, doing the rounds on a number of sites, shows the mini adventure-tourer closely resembling the Versys 650, with a similar low-slung exhaust, but with a more-complete lower fairing hiding the smaller parallel-twin engine.

It's believed to be built around the 249cc engine from the Z250 and Ninja 250, which gets a capacity hike for the European market in the Z300 and Ninja 300. Tmcblog is reporting that the Versys 250 is likely to be sold globally, in which case it could get the same capacity hike to become a 296cc Versys 300 for Europe.

It's one of two recently rumoured new mini adventure-tourers, the other being a Suzuki V-Strom 250.
