INDIAN Motorcycles have announced the new Scout Bobber Sixty as the most affordable route into Indian motorcycle ownership.

The referenced media source is missing and needs to be re-embedded.

The new 2020 Scout Bobber Sixty uses the same 999cc engine as the slightly pricier and heavy Scout Bobber, although the new machine is noticeable more stripped back and basic than its bigger sibling.

Helping to slim the bike down are chopped fenders, a blacked-out engine and frame (they do say black is slimming!), new tank badging and all-new black, five-spoke wheels.

With less bling and more blacked-out parts, the new Scout Bobber Sixty would make the ideal basis for a custom motorcycle, something that Indian haven’t missed. The new bike can be kitted out with over 140 accessories to choose from.

The new bike comes in at £9,995 which makes it about £400 less than the Scout Sixty it is based on but a whopping £1400 less than its natural competitor from Milwaukee, the Harley-Davidson Softail Slim. While the H-D may tug at the heartstrings of those looking for a more authentic option to place in their garage, for those on a budget the new Indian looks like pretty good value to us.
