Indian to sell limited Edition Jack Daniels Chieftain
100 bikes in total, 10 coming to Europe
INDIAN HAS made 100 limited edition Jack Daniels Chieftains and 10 of the are coming to Europe.
If you fancy getting hold of a bourbon-branded US luxury cruiser, you need to know that they go on sale tomorrow (March 14) at 6pm CET, with one bike allocated to the UK, priced at £33,799 GBP inc VAT.
The bikes, made in collaboration with Jack Daniels and designed in conjunction with South Dakota’s Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, are hand painted and will be delivered in August this year.
Each comes with commemorative American flag handcrafted out of Jack Daniel’s barrel wood that includes the owner’s name, motorcycle number and VIN.
Bikes are individually numbered and come with a two-year unlimited mileage factory warranty and free membership in the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group (IMRG) for one year.
Custom touches to the 1811cc ‘Thunder Stroke’ V-twin Chieftain include a unique white and black crystal paint job with charcoal coloured accents that are said to be inspired the way Jack Daniels ages its bourbon.
The bike also gets the famous Jack Daniel’s ‘Old No 7’ logo, a JD horn cover badge and premium touches like LED lights, electronically adjustable screen and a sound system for banging out the tunes.
This isn’t the first time Indian has teamed up with Jack Daniels – the two companies got together last year to produce a limited edition Chief Vintage, to mark 150 years of Jack Daniels and raise money for charity.
