Kawasaki Versys 1000 prices revealed
Kawasaki's four-cylinder all-rounder gets traction control, ABS and a claimed 250-mile range
KAWASAKI have revealed the pricing for their Versys 1000, it will cost £9499.
The bike shares its engine with the firm's Z1000 and Z1000SX; a 1043cc inline four. The engine has been retuned and compression lowered for more low-down and mid-range torque, while 1st and 2nd gears are now shorter for improved acceleration while the upper gears are taller for increased fuel economy and tank range. Kawasaki claim up to 250 miles from the 21-litre tank.
The Versys 1000 features adjustable power modes, ABS and KTRC Kawasaki's adjustable traction control. The genuine accessories list also includes matching topbox and panniers, which you can see in the image below.
The Versys 1000 will be available in Pearl Stardust White and Metallic Magnesium Grey (which actually looks brown and gets the Visordown thumbs up).
It'll be in dealers in December.
