THE LATEST addition to the Ducati Monster range for 2011 is the larger capacity 1100EVO.

Overall the new machine retains the styling of 1100 Monster's smaller siblings but standing out from the family of Ducati nakeds is the fantastically crafted exhaust system. The new 2-1-2 pipes are more than just beautiful tubes across the engine they are functional too, ensuring the bike's 100bhp and 76ft-lb torque is properly distributed.

The Monster 1100EVO comes fitted with the Ducati Safety Pack, which includes the Italian company's ABS and traction control systems.

This Monster will be available in two colour options; red with a white racing stripe and black with a grey racing stripe.

Detailed in the press conference last night the Ducati representatives split the company's mythos down to three elements of 'emotional quality' under the ideas of authentic Italian performance and this is apparent with the new 1100EVO with the combination of styling, technology and the 1100cc powerplant.
