Moto Guzzi reveals blacked out V9 Bobber Special Edition

The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Special Edition brings a new visual update and a new exhaust to the American-inspired bobber from Italy.

At EICMA, Moto Guzzi revealed a new special edition of the V9 Bobber with new component material and a refreshed look.

The Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Special Edition keeps the 853cc twin-cylinder motor of the standard model, and mostly the same chassis, too. The new version is a mostly visual update, but there is also one performance piece.

That performance piece is a new slip-on exhaust, but its black paint is almost the more important feature here in the context of the whole bike.

Moto Guzzi wanted the Special Edition to be blacked out, and they achieved that with a two-tone black and grey paint job that extends from the motorcycle's billet-aluminium-capped fuel tank to the aluminium side panels. The slip-on pipe itself is painted matte black, as are the aluminium cylinder heads which also bear the Moto Guzzi branding. And, of course, the fat 'bobber' tyres remain for the Special Edition.
