New 2021 Ducati XDiavel Dark and Black Star launched
Two new versions of the Ducati XDiavel have been announced as the Dark and Black Star join the range
FOR 2021, the Ducati XDiavel range is gaining two new motorcycles join the line-up. The Ducati XDiavel Dark and XDiavel Black Star are, as the names suggest, stealthy looking versions of the Italian cruiser, while the rest of the XDiavel range gains Euro5 certification.
The XDiavel Dark follows a long line of ‘Dark’ models that stretches back to 1998 when the Monster 600 Dark was announced. Like that first bike of the bloodline, the newest member of the family features a moody paint job.

The Majority of the bike is finished in matt black, with the livery extending to the mechanical components, plates, and finishes. Ducati is calling the design style "Reduce to the Max", although in our mind that does mean turning the things down to zero…
The new XDiavel Black Star is a new concept for the Borgo Panigale firm, which at first glance looks pretty much the same as the Black. Dig a little deeper though and there are some notable changes. First off, the bike is the homage to black that the it seems, there are, if you look really hard, some tiny flashes of red running up the flanks and charcoal grey accents on the belly pan.
The biggest change though comes in the form of an upgrade in standard equipment. It sits closer to the XDiavel S and features M50 Brembo calipers, a DRL headlight, Bluetooth connectivity, lightweight forged wheels, DLC coated fork stanchions, and a newly upholstered seat.
Ducati XDiavel gains Euro5 and more power!
Aside from the upgrades to the paint and hardware, all XDiavel models become Euro 5, gaining 8 hp in maximum power, with a claimed smoother delivery curve. That’s on top of becoming Euro5 compliant.
