Suzuki announces prices of V-Strom range

SUZUKI has revealed new prices of two of its best-selling models, the updated V-Strom 650 and V-Strom 1000.

The 2017 V-Strom 650 will cost £7,399 plus on-the-road charges when it arrives in showrooms late next month, while the ‘more off-road-ready’ V-Strom 650XT (pictued below) will be £500 more.

The V-Strom 1000 will be £9,499, while the XT version, with wire-spoked wheels, will be £9,999.

The prices make the V-Strom 650 at least £550 more than Yamaha’s Tracer 700, one of its closest competitors.

The V-Strom 1000XT (pictured above) undercuts several other big adventure bikes but isn’t far off Honda’s Africa Twin, which starts at £10,499 on the road.

What do you think of the Suzuki prices? A steal or no deal?
