There have been plenty of reveals made at the Intermot show in Cologne this week, and the latest is from Tinbot

Fortunately, their motorcycle, the TB-RS1, seems more inspiring than the brand name, which is a victim of linguistic differences when it comes to an English-speaking audience.

The TB-RS1 is electric, and features a type-2 charger which can charge the battery in 5.5-6 hours, 8.64kWh lithium-ion battery and a range of 100km on the motorway. In a city, that range doubles to 200km.

In terms of performance, the top speed is rated at 120kph, or 74.5mph, thanks to a maximum power output of 35kW (46.9 horsepower) and a weight of 183kg which is supported by inverted forks at the front and a single rear shock at the back.

That is of course quite a significant output, as it is the highest power output available to riders with an A2 licence.

Getting it all stopped relies on dual front discs and a single rear disc which are also electronically assisted via ABS.

The wheels are 17 inches at both ends, with a 120/70 tyre at the front and a 150/60 at the rear.

When it comes to colours, there are four options: red, grey, blue, and red; and the TB-RS1 will cost €10,990.

That translates to around £9,660 at the time of writing, but British readers won’t have to worry about that just yet, because Tinbot do not yet have a UK distribution network. They are currently established in European countries, with their main presence in Germany, Austria, and Italy.

But, maybe in the future the TB-RS1 will cross the Channel.
