HONDA presented an updated version of the CB650F at its press conference at Eicma in Milan.

For 2017 the CB650F has received a small increase in power, up to 89.8hp from a new free-breathing exhaust and intake management including shorter intake funnels and larger intake ducts.

The CB650F’s gear ratios have also been shortened to provide harder midrange acceleration.

The Showa dual bending valve fork with firmer damping is also new and the Nissin brakes (two-piston front calipers with 320mm discs and single-piston rear with 240mm disc) have also been revised.

The CB650F’s styling tweaks comes from its new smaller side cowls and the riding position has been moved slightly forward to place the rider closer to the front wheel.

It will be available in three colour options – ‘Millennium Red’, ‘Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic’ and ‘Pearl Spencer Blue’.
