New Indian Springfield Will Signal the Model’s End in Some Markets
Indian has released its 2025 limited edition Springfield model which will be the last chance saloon to own the company’s ultra-exclusive bagger from new
Indian’s new Springfield model is even more exclusive than the 2025 Roadmaster Elite, with only one unit coming to the UK.
The American brand’s ‘Elite’ range has taken a bolstering with the new Roadmaster special which has landed as the most expensive bike within Indian’s entire range. But although the new Springfield is nearly £13k cheaper, it’s even more limited than the Roadmaster which has been produced in 300 Units (60 outside North America).
Only 50 units of the Springfield will be made available globally and this newest model will mark the final opportunity for those in selected European markets to own the model from new. The MSRP in the UK for the 2025 Springfield special is £25,895.
Styled in a flashy two-tone paint scheme, the American firm’s ‘Red over Ivory Cream’ pays tribute to its roots. The one-off colourway also features Anniversary Gold Metallic accents and pinstriping run throughout. The new Springfield will also include numbered badges to demonstrate its exclusivity.
Using the same 1890cc air-cooled V-twin ‘Thunderstroke 116’ engine as the 2025 Roadmaster Elite, the new Springfield produces 126Ib ft of torque at 3000rpm, and while the peak power figures have not been shared, we expect something around the 89bhp mark as it features the same engine as the Indian Sport Chief which produces that same number.
A rear cylinder deactivation to reduce radiant heat to the rider’s is standard on the new model and is tuneable between three ride modes which are Tour, Standard, and Sport.
It also receives a quick-release windscreen that’s detachable, colour-matched, remote-central panniers, an adjustable sissy bar, highway pegs and adjustable rider and pillion floorboards. It also features a keyless ignition set-up, cruise control, and a USB charging port as standard.
Brakes include a four-piston calliper with dual 300mm floating rotors at the front, while the rear consists of a single 300mm floating rotor, two-piston calliper setup.
