Nexx Unveils New Premium Carbon Helmet with Built-In Aerospace Technology
Nexx has added a new premium helmet to its line-up with the arrival of its adventure-ready X.LifeCountry Carbon lid
European manufacturer Nexx has unveiled one of its most advanced helmets to date as the new X.LifeCountry Carbon is constructed using aerospace technology while also getting a full carbon fibre shell.
Designed and made entirely in Europe, the new adventure helmet features Nexx’s ultralight X-PRO 3K carbon fibre shell and has been developed using aerospace technology. It’s ECE 22.06 certified and comes in two shell sizes ranging from the smallest and lightest possible helmet in each fitment range.
Fully adventure riding-ready, the new premium helmet gets a flip-up chin bar and it also includes an adjustable peak that has been specifically shaped to reduce buffeting and vibrations at higher speeds, There’s also a removable and adjustable peak extension for riders who prefer extra coverage.
The visor features Nexx's X-Sensus Vision technology, which makes it 15 per cent larger than standard visor. The visor can be paired with a Pinlock 120XLT anti-fog insert, which is supplied as standard with the helmet.
The flip-front mechanism features an easy-to-access button which is claimed to offer better anti-fog when at a stop, while the Super Locker pivot system ensures the chin bar remains securely locked when raised. With the X.LifeCountry Carbon dual homologated, riders can legally use the helmet in both open and closed positions on UK roads.
Ventilation ports are featured front and back, along with the patent-pending NEXX Mid Airflow Chamber which offers a gap between inner and outer EPS layers. The interior is made from X.MART Dry fabric which is fully removable and washable.
Adventure riders that want to stay connected can use the company’s new X-COM3 Series communication systems. Two options are available: the standard X-COM3 with Bluetooth 5.0 technology or the premium X-COM3 PRO featuring 2.0 Mesh technology.
The new lid is currently available in two versions which are the carbon-finish ZERO PRO at £579.99 and the TERRA, which sells for £539.99 in four graphic schemes. Both are available in sizes XS to XXXL and come complete with action camera mounts and a 80 per cent smoked visor.
