The parents of two young MotoAmerica Mini Cup riders were arrested last month due to allegedly running a drug operation and possessing guns.

Jackson, New Jersey's Jennifer Jazikoff and Glenn Jazikoff, are the parents in question and, according to reports in the US, were arrested on July 26. Both parents have reportedly been involved with the Mini Cup series for several years, and their sons took part in the Mini Cup finals from August 8 to the 10.

This troubling story is even more sad because it involves minors who have shown a lot of racing potential. In fact, one of the Jazikoff brothers was crowned champion in the 2025 AMA Mini Cup Stock 110 class during the finale at Road America.

While the reported actions of their parents are shocking, to say the least, and will likely cause a lot of negative criticism towards the family, it must be remembered that the two sons are simply young racers.

Mug shots and other information about the two arrests can be accessed on various US-based websites that specialise in providing such details.

However, further information has now be shared with the public courtesy of a press release from by the Ocean County New Jersey Prosecutor's Office. The release, which connected four other individuals in the operation called 'The Green Bean', alongside Glenn and Jennifer Jazikoff, went into detail about the charges for both parents.

The statement said: "Glenn Jazikoff was charged with Possession of a Firearm during a Controlled Dangerous Substance Offense, Possession of More than 25 pounds of Marijuana and THC Products, Possession of More than One Ounce of Psilocybin with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Conspiracy to Possess and Distribute More than 25 Pounds of Marijuana, Possession of More than Five Ounces of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Financial Facilitation, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Glenn Jazikoff was transported to the Ocean County Jail and subsequently released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform.

It remains to be seen how MotoAmerica approaches this unique and sad situation, and one that’s unlike anything else you may have heard of before.

MotoAmerica, like British Superbike, serves as one of the biggest domestic platforms for young racers to show their talents and kick-start their careers in racing. We just hope that the two talented racers at the heart of all this still get to develop their futures in racing.
