GasGas has announced a new partnership with Gimoto to offer customised leather suits for supermoto riders.

The new partnership will offer the Spanish brand’s customers the option to design their own leather suit via Gimoto’s ‘Vamos Suit Configurator’. In the configurator, you can enter your measurements, choose your suit’s colours, choose different protection options, and add your name and any sponsorship logos.

The only restriction on the design of the leathers is the placement of some prominent GasGas branding on the arms and legs. “But, beyond that, the rest of the design is entirely up to you,” GasGas says.

The suit can also be perforated on the arms legs and chest for improved ventilation when riding in the heat, and the suit has the option of a removable, washable liner for ease of cleaning.

The list of options and their prices are as follows:

  • Elbow, knee, and shoulder protectors - €110
  • Kangaroo leather - €320
  • Removable lining - €95
  • Back protector - €70
  • Chest protector - €48
  • Vibram protectors - €80
  • Airbag stretch kit - €138

The total, then, for the add-ons is €861, which at the time of writing (January 2023) equates to around £755. That is added to the cost of the base suit, which is dependent on your personal selections for graphics and measurements.

The GasGas suit from Gimoto will be available with worldwide shipping.

You can find the Gimoto Vamos Suit Configurator here, or via the Gimoto website.
