Ixon launches T-Rex mesh jacket, suitable for all conditions
Ixon has launched the T-Rex all-season mesh jacket, featuring removable linings which keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Ixon has introduced the T-Rex mesh jacket; a motorcycle jacket aimed at combining the positives of waterproof and cold weather jackets with the ventilation of those designed for hot weather.
The T-Rex product makes use of a “3-in-1 system,” Ixon says, of polyester 600D mesh linings, with two of those being removable.
For example, the T-Rex features a well-ventilated and waterproof removable membrane aimed at keeping the wearer cool in the summer (with mesh panels on the chest, belly, sleeves, and shoulders), but also dry during spells of rain.
Additionally, the fixed mesh lining includes 3D mesh panels on the collar, wrist, central flap, and belt areas.
On the other hand, there is a removable thermal membrane which can be applied in colder conditions to keep the wearer warm.
As such, Ixon is able to describe the T-Rex as a jacket suitable for all seasons.
Furthermore, the T-Rex features reflective panels on the triceps for additional visibility in low-light conditions, as well as compatibility with Ixon’s IX-Airbag U03 airbag vest for additional protection in hard impacts.
Although it is straight-cut, Ixon says “the T-Rex will also match your body shape with a wide range of elements on the biceps, wrists and at the bottom of the jacket to provide a perfect fit.”
The Ixon T-Rex is available in three different colour options: “Black/Blue/Yellow,” “Black/White/Red,” and “Black/White/Grey;” and sizes from small to 3XL. On Ixon’s Belgian website, the T-Rex is priced at €239.99, which equates to around £200.
