Micron has announced new twin Delta Sport endcans for Triumph’s popular Triumph Street Triple, adding improved performance and looks to this already stylish machine.
The recently launched Delta Sport range from Micron is an evolution of Delta+, featuring the same oval design but with revised inlet and outlet technology and a new endcap design.
Manufactured to comply with European road noise legislation, the new silencers’ baffles are easily removed, making the Delta Sport equally ideal for trackday use.
The Delta Sport endcans are available in two finishes: stainless steel with a stainless endcap – £449.98 and titanium with a black ceramic endcap £599.98.
With the inserts removed, the Street Triple enjoys a performance increase of 4.2bhp at 11,000rpm and a torque gain of 2.6ft.lbs at 9,100rpm. At the same time, the Delta Sport endcans are 3.2kg lighter than the Street Triple’s original silencers.
"The Street Triple is a great bike,” commented Micron’s brand manager, Arthur Macdonald, "and, after all the rave reviews, it's bound to be a top seller. With a pair of Delta Sports you can improve its sound, looks and performance, save weight and, best of all, keep your Triumph British!"
