New Bluetooth intercom/headset from Givi
Italian firm expands product range with new Bluetooth intercom headset
ANOTHER ENTRY in the 'things we wonder how we did without them' is the Bluetooth headset. A tiny radio on your helmet, which connects to mobile phones, sat-navs and doubles as an intercom to other headsets - just the job for commuting and longer journeys.
And now Italian firm Givi has launched its own take on the product - the new I303S Bluetooth and intercom. It's a commendably tiny unit, and charges off a standard USB connection for eight hours of talk time and seven days of standby time. It uses a general attachment setup that will suit most helmets, and comes with Velcro attachments for the earphone speakers and microphone sponges. RRP is around £165 but street price (well, eBay price...) might be cheaper.
