Pyramid Offers New Parts for Selected Triumph Models
British-made bodywork specialist Pyramid is offering new parts on two Triumph models

British bodywork specialist Pyramid has released a comprehensive rear hugger selection of parts for Triumph's Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X models.
The Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X from Triumph, both of which landed in dealers in 2023, feature single-cylinder engines and the parts from Pyramid have been constructed solely for these two motorcycles.
While the two models are not exactly related to any other models in the current Triumph family, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are both inspired by bikes such as the Speed Twin, Scrambler 900 and Scrambler 1200 models. The pair of small-capacity bikes also share common elements, with parts like the engine, swingarm and dashboard all being similar.
The hugger and chainguard combo is designed to offer protection for the rear end of the retro twins, while also adding protection for riders and passengers’ legs. It will do the same with riders that have any luggage mounted on-board too.

Designed to look like original equipment, both guards feature a matte black finish that aligns itself with the Speed and Scrambler’s styling. The chain guard features a laser-cut Pyramid logo to boot.
Installation is not a tiresome task as no modifications are needed - the hugger is engineered to fit both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X straight out of the box, mounting directly to existing points on the swingarm.
The Pyramid Hugger and Chainguard combo for the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X costs £104.99 including VAT, and comes standard with all necessary fixings and build instructions.
In terms of the price for both bikes from Triumph, the Speed 400 remains the cheaper of the two alternatives, coming in at £5,195, while the Scrambler 400X has an RRP of £5,795.
