2015 British Superbike calendar announced
Cadwell Park has been moved forward to allow for the British GP
FOLLOWING the release of the 2015 MotoGP provisional calendar, the 2015 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship calendar has also been announced and approved.
The 2015 British Superbike calendar has 12 rounds across eight well knwon UK circuits along with one European round in Assen.
Although British Superbikes will begin on the Easter weekend in April, Donington Park will be the season opener for the first time since 2001 and will therefore no longer be the Showdown decider.
In the provisional 2015 MotoGP calendar the British Grand Prix clashed with the British Superbike Cadwell Park round as it's usually hosted on the August bank holiday weekend. However, BSB's Cadwell Park round will now be the weekend before.
Oulton Park has now replaced Donington as the Showdown decider and due to it being a triple-header with 75-points up for grabs, it makes it even more important.
