MotoGP: Waldmann shows off new MZ racer

FORMER 250GP stars Ralf Waldmann and business partner Martin Wimmer unveiled their new 250cc racer at last weekend's German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring.

The machine, which is powered by a four-stroke KTM, has already undergone a testing programme and will be ready for competition in the near future. Waldmann is hoping the machine will compete in the replacement for the outgoing 125cc two-stroke class.

Waldmann and Wimmer are also reputed to be considering entering a team in Moto2.
