Rossi: 'I like the challenge with Ducati'
"I don't know if I will ever win with Ducati, but I'll do my best to make it happen."
EVEN though Valentino Rossi has just come from further struggles in the dry at Silverstone, the Italian admitted to Spanish TV that he is still relishing the challenge of trying to get his first win aboard the Ducati.
"Fortunately I have won a lot in my career, and I no longer need to achieve certain results. I prefer a challenge and now I'm trying to win with Ducati," Rossi began in the exclusive interview with Telecinco.
"Mainly I race because it's fun and I still enjoy it. I'm never sure how it will go, and I don't know if I'll ever win with Ducati, but I'll do my best to make it happen."
Rossi said that he has no regrets with moving to Ducati, adding: "I'm happy with my decision. It was something I had to try and winning as an Italian rider on an Italian bike would be special. I never thought that I had made a mistake."
The Italian does however still have fond memories of his time at Yamaha, where he won four of his seven premier class titles, "The bike I had the most fun with was the Yamaha, because I spent the best part of my career and had the best results on that bike."
